My Future Plans

As you can see by the chart, I have been taking it fairly easy since my return to running. I plan to run six miles tonight, after which I am going to begin barefoot from then on out. I highly prefer running free of shoes. I honestly believe my new Asics Cumulus 10's are causing some stress to my inner shins. I have never felt anything more then soreness since I first began running. After my first five mile run in the Asics, I had a weird feeling in my shins.

Once I get my Five Finger KSO shoes, I plan on following a fairly rigid half marathon training plan. I will probably start my millage fairly low.

A Little Intro

I first began running in May of this year. There was nothing that really motivated me to begin running. It was just something I thought I would try and quickly found out that I loved it! Of course, living in Texas has many downsides; one of them is the heat! I stopped running in mid-June because of it. I usually run at night, but even then the temperatures can still be in the 90's with high humidity.

So now that is has begun to cool off, I am out running again. The winter will in no way stop me. I love cold weather!
